Winifred A. Tootell, 86, passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at home with her family by her side. Born in Trenton, she was a resident of Columbus for over 40 years. She had worked as a substitute coordinator for the Northern Burlington Regional School District and was a life-long member of the Christ Episcopal Church of Bordentown. Winifred's family was very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and many dear friends.

Predeceased by her parents, Paul and Elizabeth Aaronson, her siblings, Jacob and Paul Aaronson and Wilma Mihok and her beloved husband of 44 years, Edward D. Tootell, she is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law: William and Donna Tootell of Burlington township, Paul and Sharon Tootell of Springfield Township, Edward "Donald" and Cynthia Tootell of Columbus and her foster son, Henry Eldridge and his wife Colleen. Her brother and sister-in-law: William and Jane Aaronson of New Gretna and sister: Linda Aaronson of Barnegat Light, her grandchildren: Leigh, Matthew, Sean, Julianne, Seth, Emily and Abigail Tootell, her great granddaughter: Annabelle Tootell and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

A Requiem Mass will be celebrated 10 am Monday, April 3 at Christ Episcopal Church, 130 Prince St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Columbus Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday evening 6 to 8 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made in Winifred's name to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Drive, Ste 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
