Obituary

William J. Robinson, 86, passed away Monday, February 11, 2013 at his home with his family by his side. Born and raised in Trenton, he was a resident of Bordentown Township for the last 59 years. He was a WWII Navy veteran and retired in 1988 after 37 years with the Trenton Carpenters Local #31 of Trenton. William was very active in the community and was a former member and past president of the Mission Fire Company, a former president, manager and umpire with Bordentown Junior Baseball and was a member of the Delaware Valley Umpire Association. He was a past member of the Bordentown Township Zoning Board, the Bond AA Hall of Fame for boxing, the American Legion Post #31, St. Mary's Church of Bordentown and the Bordentown Elks #2085 BPOE. William enjoyed fishing and boating and flea markets. He will be missed by both his family and friends.

Son of the late Harold and Mary Robinson, brother of the late Henry and Harold Robinson and Mary DiMattia and beloved husband of the late Ann T. Robinson, he is survived by three sons,  William J., Paul J. and his wife Martha, and John W. Robinson all of Bordentown Township; a daughter, Margaret A. Daily and her husband John of Warrington, PA; seven grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
