William W. Muehleisen, Sr., 96 of Yardville, passed away Friday, January 13, 2012 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton. Born in Trenton, he was raised in Crosswicks and attended Hamilton High West. Mr. Muehleisen was a baker for Kohns Bakery and Eet Gud Bakery and also was active with the Bakery Union, serving as Secretary and Treasurer. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and was an avid Yankee's fan and most of all loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Ruth E. Muehleisen; his son, William W. Muehleisen, Jr. of Plumsted; his daughter and son-in-law, Cathy R. and John Kocubinski of Ellisdale; his grandchildren, William W. Muehleisen III and his wife Colleen of Tuckerton, Glenn Muehleisen of Plumsted, Melissa Muehleisen of Burlington, John Kocubinski and his wife Shannon of Chesterfield, Michael Kocubinski and his wife Amy of Yardville and Catie Milkwick and her husband Tim of Weehawken; his great grandchildren, Robert and Holden Muehleisen and Michael, Molly and Kate Kocubinski; a brother, Jonah Umstead of Ewing; three sisters, Betty Stout of Plumsted, Evelyn Shipp of Yardville and Geraldine Umstead of Philadelphia as well many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held 12pm on Wednesday, January 18 th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in the North Crosswicks Cemetery, Hamilton. Friends may call Wednesday from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home.
