William (Bob) R. Moore Jr , 89, passed away peacefully on Saturday May 6, 2023 at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton with his family by his side. Born in Trenton, he was a resident of Bordentown all his life. Bob was a member of the final class at the #2 School in Bordentown and a William MacFarland High School graduate. An Army Veteran, he retired from the US Postal Service after 34 years of service. Bob was very active in the community. He was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, where he was a lead usher, coached Bordentown Area Track Club as well as in the Bordentown Area Basketball League and received a certificate of appreciation from Bordentown Care"…for Outstanding Community Service." As an avid sports fan he was often seen at local football and basketball games, wrestling matches and track events. He will be deeply missed.

Predeceased by his parents William R Sr. and Lillian Moore and his sister Sylvia Jackson, he is survived by his beloved wife Luz (Margo) Moore, his daughter and son-in-law: Cynthia and Jeff Rosenblatt of Mechanicsville, MD, his sons: William R. Moore III and Frank C. Moore both of Bordentown and James S. Moore of Groton, MA., His grandchildren: Justin, Tyler, William IV and Chloe Moore and Jonathan and Cameryn Rosenblatt, great grandson: Elija Moore and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am Saturday, May 13 at Mary, Mother of the Church, 45 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. A viewing with the family will be held Friday evening from 6 pm until 9 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
