William R. Meirs, Jr., 89, of East Windsor, passed away Friday, November 9, 2012 at Meadow Lakes.  Born in Cream Ridge, he was a lifetime area resident and farmer.  Mr. Meirs was a professional singer and a member of St. David's Episcopal Church in Cranbury.

Son of the late William and Margaret Meirs, he was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Wright Meirs.  He is survived by several close neighbors and friends.

Services were private under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
