William J. Lipton, 63, of Groveville, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at his home. Born in New Brunswick, he was lifetime resident of Groveville. William graduated from Steinert High School and was a US Navy Veteran. He worked as a butcher for several local stores including ShopRite for 28 years. A member of the American Legion Post 194, William loved to ride his motorcycle, enjoyed listening to music and fishing and was an avid baseball card collector. He had a heart of gold and was always helping others. His favorite thing to do was spend time with his daughters and grandchildren.

Son of the late Clara Stanton Lipton; William is survived by his three daughters, Katti, Meagan and Ashley Lipton; his grandchildren, Christian, Michael and Christa; his father, John Lipton Sr.; his brothers and sister-in-law, John Jr. and Cindy Lipton and Charles Lipton; his niece, Stacy Consavage and his former wives, Diane Lipton and Nancy Lipton.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, January 14 ^th from 5-8 pm with a service to begin at 8pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will be held 12:30 pm on Friday, January 17 ^th at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
