William J. Guenther, formally of McKee City, NJ passed away Monday June 4th, 2007 at Mt. Holly N.J. He was born in Atlantic City, but a life long resident of McKee City. Was retired from Lenox China as a Kiln Technician. His parents, Tom & Martha Guenther and his wife Marie and infant Daughter predeceased him.
Bill served in the U.S. Marine Corp reserve during the 50's, and was involved in Midget Car Racing and an avid Bowler. He also was very active in the Masonic Fraternity: Atlantic Lodge # 221, Past Master 1989 â?? 1993, Duel Member Keystone Lodge # 153, Grand Lodge, Past Grand Chaplain 1999, 23rd District Past Masters, Masters and Wardens Association, South Jersey Past Masters, Masters and Wardens Association, Trinity Chapter # 38, Past High Priest, Trinity Council # 11, Past Thrice Illustrious Master, Atlantic Commandery # 20, Past Commander, Shrewsbury Priory # 4, Knight York Cross of Honor, Knight Masons Southern New Jersey Council # 11, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Atlantic City Forrest # 11, Acacia Club of Northfield, Excelsior, Scottish Rite Bodies 32*, Atlantic City Scottish Rite Club, Cresent Temple, A.A.O.N.M.S., Atlantic City Shrine Club, and the Masonic Home Luncheon Club.
A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of the Masonic Home in Burlington. Masonic Service will be at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Masonic Charity Foundation of New Jersey, 902 Jacksonville Rd., Burlington, NJ 08016. Arrangements under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
