On December 17, 2021, William F. Gaskill III (Bill), passed into the afterlife after a long battle with cancer.

Bill had been a longtime resident of Bordentown NJ until recently when he followed his dream and moved to the mountains of Towanda Pennsylvania where he and his children have owned property for many years.

Bill loved to hunt. Besides hunting in NJ and PA, he has been to Maine, Montana and Canada. He always enjoyed riding his ATV through his property with his family and friends. Although very weak from being sick, Bill mustered the strength to join his family in the woods this past opening day of the Pennsylvania rifle deer season. He had the good fortune of taking a nice 8 point buck.

Bill was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After serving his country, bill returned home, where he met and married his wife Connie. Shortly after, he started his career as a Lineman for the Amtrak railroad system from which he later retired.

Bill was pre-deceased in life by his incredible loving wife Constance J Gaskill (ne:Derricott) as well as his parents, William and Helen Gaskill. He was also pre-deceased by his mother and father in law, Thomas and Thelma Derricott as well as his brother in law Ralph Patterson and sister in law Cathy Gaskill.

Bill leaves behind his three children, Son William F Gaskill IV of Hamilton NJ, son David T Gaskill and wife Linda of Towanda PA and his Daughter Denise M Bianchi and husband Richard T Jr. of Brick NJ. He also leaves behind his sister Helen Patterson of Hamilton NJ and brother Richard J Gaskill of Towanda PA.

His Surviving in laws from his wife's family are Diane Dolan of Maryland, Thomas Derricott and wife Debbie of Flemington NJ, Russell Derricott and wife Antoinette of Hamilton NJ and Glenn Derricott and wife Kelly of Tabernacle NJ.

Bill had many nieces and nephews which he always enjoyed spending time with when he could. They include Ralph Patterson and wife Sandy Patterson, Robert Patterson, Kathy Alexander and husband George Alexander, Richard J. Gaskill Jr and wife Lisa Gaskill, Diana Lynn Hawley, Sherry Dolan-Chiara and husband Brian, Thomas Derricott and wife Dana Derricott, Angelina Otis and husband Chris Otis, Tammy Hoagland and husband Randy Hoagland, Shannon Derricott and Chelsea Derricott, Ashley Sexton and husband John Sexton. He also has many great nieces and nephews as well.

Bill also had a special friend, Joanne Chacona of Towanda PA. Although their friendship was brief, Joanne made a long and lasting impact on Bill's children, for which they are deeply grateful.

Funeral Services will be 11 am Tuesday, December 28 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. A viewing with the family will be held Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm and again on Tuesday morning from 10 am until time of service. Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery, Bordentown Township.
