William M. Donnelly, 70, of Mercerville, passed away peacefully Wednesday at his home after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. Born in Trenton, Bill owned and operated Bill Donnelly Antenna Service in Hamilton and was a US Army Veteran serving in Korea. He was an original player on the Little Bigger League, later known as the Babe Ruth League. Bill was an amazing, energetic man who was full of life. He enjoyed baking, traveling and was a very creative woodworker. Most of all, Bill loved children, especially his grandchildren. Bill was an organ donor and helped others by donating his organs after his death. It was his hope that others would consider becoming an organ donor, to share life with others.

Son of the late John James and Alfreda Donnelly, he was predeceased by his brother James. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia Platt Donnelly; three children and their spouses, Linda and Joseph Ialacci of Hamilton Square, Kathryn and Vlad Kanterman of Barrington, RI and William Jr. and Kathleen Donnelly of Hamilton; three stepchildren, Ethan Taylor and his wife Tracy of Cookstown, Owen Taylor of Cookstown and Ashlie Taylor of Boston, MA; five grandchildren, Jocelyn and Dean Ialacci, Alyse and Justin Kanterman, and Kyle Taylor; two brothers, John and Joseph Donnelly; two sisters, Mary Kildea and Margaret Raynor; his mother-in-law and father in-law, Joan and Luke Platt, and his former wife, Marguerite Donnelly.

Funeral service will be held 5 pm Saturday at the Allentown Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 or to the Sharing Network, 841 Mountain Ave., Springfield, NJ 07081.
