Obituary

William E. Cheesman, 99, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at the Masonic Home of New Jersey in Burlington Township, NJ.  Born in Magnolia, NJ, he resided in Audubon for 58 years prior to moving to the Home.   William was a sales manager with RCA of Camden and retired after 45 years of service.  He joined DeMolay in 1929, was a member of the Mt. Holly Lodge #14 F. &A.M. and the Haddonfield, Cherry Hill Lodge #15 F.&A.M., as well as the Trenton Shrine.

Son of the late Charles and Mary Cheesman, husband of the late Marjorie Cheesman, he was predeceased by two children, Thomas R. Cheesman and Janet Flohrer and a granddaughter Nancy Puckett. William is survived by a daughter-in-law, Sandra Cattafesta of Haddonfield; a son-in-law, Carl Flohrer of Ponta Gorda; three grandchildren, William Flohrer, Heather Cheesman-Likos and Alison Cheesman-Riley; a great grandchild, Cory Puckett;  nieces and nephews, Doris Kates and her husband Leonard, Mabel Vanfossen, Marie McGuire, Ray Cheesman and George Cheesman and a special friend, Mille Britton.

Visitation will be held at 10am on Monday, August 13 th with a Masonic Service beginning at 10:30am, followed by the funeral service at Masonic Home Chapel, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington. Interment will follow in Berlin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Shriners Hospitals for Children, 3551 N. Broad St. Philadelphia, PA 19140-4131 Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Bordentown.
