William "Bill" C. Mack, 73, of Upper Freehold Twp., died on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at CentraState Hospital in Freehold. Born in New Brunswick, Bill was a US Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era. A 1965 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, he earned his Master's Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1977. Bill was the Criminal Division Manager, State of New Jersey, Superior Court of Monmouth, retiring in 1997. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Allentown. Bill was an avid horseman, owning and racing many Standardbred horses.
Son of the late Raymond and Elinor Mack, he is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Lorraine Wilkinson; his stepdaughter and granddaughter, Laurie and Lauren Gazell of Brick, his siblings, Raymond and Susan Mack of Matawan, Edward and Sandra Mack of Manasquan and Elizabeth and Timothy Duncan of Naples, FL and his nephews and niece, William Mack, Jessica Tobia and Jamie Mack.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11am on Saturday, October 22nd at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30-10:30am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill's name to the Standardbred Retirement Foundation, 353 Sweetmans Lane, Ste 101, Millstone Twp., NJ 08535.
