William Charles Bumbera, 91 of Crosswicks, NJ., passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022. Born in Trenton, Bill was a longtime resident of Crosswicks, NJ.

A US Army veteran during the Korean War, Bill worked tirelessly at multiple jobs to support his family. He graduated from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science in 1953 and was a retired pharmacist with Walson Army Hospital after 25 years.

Loving son of the late John Joseph Bumbera and Mary Simko Bumbera, he was predeceased by his brothers, James F. and John Bumbera and his beloved wife of 57 years, Alice Palmer Bumbera. He was a devoted father to his children: William C. Bumbera Jr. and his wife Deirdre of Ocean Isle Beach, NC, Cynthia M. Bumbera of Roebling, NJ. and Daryl E. Bumbera of Allentown, NJ. His granddaughters: Molly Faith of Boston, MA. and Erin Kate Bumbera of Houston, TX and Jacklyn Marie and Kristi Nicole Bumbera of Hamilton, NJ.

A graveside service will be held 11 am Thursday, June 9 at the North Crosswicks Cemetery, Crosswicks-Hamilton Square Rd, Hamilton Township, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alice's Way c/o the Crosswicks Library Co., 483 Main St., PO Box 147, Crosswicks, NJ 08515. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown, NJ.
