Wendy A. Rette, 65, of Palm Coast FL, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015. Born in Westbury, NY; she was a longtime Freehold area resident before moving to Florida 14 years ago. Wendy loved being with family and adored her grandchildren.

Wife of the late Walter Rette, she was predeceased by her siblings, Janet Schnebel, Jeffrey Smith, Pam Alsing and Laurel Keeley; she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Laura Rette; her stepsons Guy Rette and William Rette; her grandchildren, Parker, Emma, Sadie, Cody, Cooper, Julia and William; her brothers, George, Randy, Scott, Douglas and Craig Smith; her sisters, Valerie and Lori Smith as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Friday, August 28, 2015 at St. John's Church, Allentown. Interment will follow in the Parish cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday from 6-9pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown, NJ 08501.
