Wayne E. Seiber, 72, of Hudson, Florida passed away Monday, March 23rd at his home in Hudson, Florida with his wife, Wanda Seiber. Born in Allentown, he was a Bordentown Military Institute graduate who resided in Hamilton for many years before moving to Florida where he retired from teaching. Wayne taught as a physical education teacher for a number of years while focusing on coaching track and field and other sport related areas before accepting an Athletic Director's position at Hightstown high school. He later graduated in record time with honors from Trenton State College - Master's Degree in Education/Administration as a prerequisite to accepting an Athletic Director's position at a brand new high school â?? Pinelands Regional High School in Tuckerton, New Jersey. Wayne was extremely dedicated and involved in his work and was committed to various educational related organizations and committee work. His continued love and commitment of Christ in his life was exemplified in his work and his connection to his family. Wayne's five loves were his wife, Wanda, his children, his dogs, Camp-of-the-Woods in Speculator, New York and his coaching.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Seiber; three children, Scott W. Seiber and his wife Alicia of Philadelphia, Pa.; Megan S. Seiber, Esq. and her husband Ernest Vaccaro of Hamilton and Todd C. Seiber of Hamilton; stepchildren Robert Diaz and his wife Andrea of Mililani, Hawaii, and Vicky Piper and her husband Jeff of Lebanon, Ohio; stepbrother Ted Seiber and his wife Maryanne of Freehold; an aunt, Carrie Dawes of Allentown; and his cousins, John I. Dawes of Freehold and Merk Walker of Cooperstown, New York who were both more akin to brothers. Wayne is also survived by nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; as well as his closest friends, Margo Seiber and Louise and William Shanfield, of whom Wayne and Louise grew-up together in Allentown, New Jersey.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am Saturday, March 28th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 South Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in Allentown Methodist Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hernando Pasco Hospice, 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, FL 34667
