Warren H. Gehrig, 82, of West Milford, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Llanfair House in Wayne. Born in Flushing NY, he resided in Kinnelon for 17 years before moving to West Milford. A US Air Force veteran, Warren was a Mechanical Engineer specializing in automated packaging, printing system and machine design. Since 1995 he worked as an Engineering Consultant for Jarco Industries Inc. in West Milford. He was a member of the West Milford Presbyterian Church and a talented photographer, inventor, music lover and airplane enthusiast.
Son of the late Frank Arthur and Charlotte Gehrig, he was predeceased by his son, Randall and a brother, Peter. Warren is survived by his son, Roy Gehrig and his wife Karen; a daughter Debra Bahr and her husband Maurice; five grandchildren, Daniel Bahr, Simon Gehrig, Jake Gehrig, Sarah Gordon and her husband Sam and Stephanie Bahr and two great grandchildren, Liliah and Sammy Gordon.
Funeral Services will take place 1pm, Thursday, July 31st at the First Reformed Church of Rocky Hill, 93 Washington St, Rocky Hill.
Friends and family may call Thursday morning from 11am until time of service at the church. Interment will follow at Rocky Hill Cemetery in Princeton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Warren's name to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
