Walter R. Winningham, 64, passed away suddenly on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Capital Health Medical Center in Hopewell. Born in Trenton he was a resident of Bordentown most of his life. Walt was a graduate of Bordentown Regional High School Class of 1974 and had worked for Carter Wallace in Cranbury for over 20 years.

Predeceased by his parents, M.G. Winningham and Mary Cherry Winningham, his siblings: Donald and Elaine Winningham, his nephew: Jared and sister-in-law Dorothy, he is survived by his three sons: Darren Winningham of Bordentown, Marquice Prather of Linden, NJ and Marlon Prather of Atlanta, GA. His siblings: M.G. Winningham Jr of Jacksonville, FL, Andrewlyn Winningham of NY, NY, Joe Winningham of Jacksonville, FL and Stephanie McDuffy and her husband Shango of Woodburry Heights, NJ. Six grandchildren: Jayson, Troy and his wife Emily, Marcus, Shayne, Julianna and Mikey and 4 great grandsons: Adrian, Hayes, Michael and Nasir, 1 great granddaughter: Kyah, four nieces: Kenya Rowers(Sid) of Atlanta, GA, Marvette Winningham of Atlanta, GA, Amber Winningham of Laurel, MD and Alexus Winningham of Lawnside, NJ and one nephew: Andre Winningham of Jacksonville, FL.

Funeral Services will be10 am Friday, July 3 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Masks must be used and social distancing must be observed.
