Walter Thomas Whalen, 81, of Clarksburg, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Born in Staten Island, NY, Walter retired as a Supervisor from the City of New York, Department of Sanitation, where is worked for 27 years. He loved the beach, cooking, traveling and most of all enjoying time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Son of the late William and Florence Madigan he was predeceased in 1975 by his wife Angela. Walter is survived by his three children, Rob Whalen, Sue Bernieri, and Matt Whalen and their spouses. He is also survived by his sister, Rita Vigliotti; 14 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Sunday, September 19 ^th at 3pm at the Allentown Presbyterian Church, 20 Church St., Allentown.
