Walter J. Slepnick , 58, passed away suddenly on Sunday July 6, 2025 at his home in Bordentown Township. Born and raised in Trenton, he was a graduate of McCorriston Catholic High School Class of 1984. He later moved to Bordentown Township in 1995. He worked as a baker and cake decorator for many locations including Mendoker's Bakery in Jamesburg, the Food Scene and Shop Rite. He enjoyed strutting with the Mummers and was a member of the Oregon Brigade and was a fan of all the Philadelphia sport teams. He will be deeply missed.

Predeceased by his parents Walter and Jennie Slepnick, he is survived by his sister and brother-in-law: Theresa and Frank Consolloy of New Egypt, his nephew Matthew Consolloy and two nieces: Brianna Weicberger and her husband Shane and Jacklyn Cosolloy.

A celebration of life for Walter will be held Thursday July 10 from 6 to 8 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
