Walter B. Jones ("Sonny"), 82, passed at home with his wife by his side on Saturday, May 2, 2020. He was raised by his grandparents, Gertrude Lippincot Jones and Walter B. Jones and was  extremely proud of being the 4 ^th generation living in the Historical Village of Crosswicks.

Sonny was a member of the IBEW Local 610, was the owner of Sonny Jones Motors and retired from the Fort Dix Public Works Division. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Fort Dix Rod and Gun Club. He also enjoyed golfing at the Fort Dix Greens and riding his motorcycle a Softail Springer.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Valerie R. Sperling Richards Jones. Three children: Harry Barton, Beth Ann and Pamela. He was predeceased by his step-son Peter V. Richards III.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Walter's name to a no-kill animal shelter of your choice.
