Walter Daley, 72, a longtime Allentown area resident, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Laurelton Village in Brick. Born in Allentown, Walter graduated from Allentown High School. He worked for the Monmouth County Road Department retiring after 37 years of service.

Son of the late Etta and Willis Daley, he was predeceased by his sister, Loretta Buckalew and brother, Leon Daley. Walter is survived by several cousins.

Funeral service will be held 11 am on Friday, January 10th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in Emley's Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 7-9pm at the funeral home.
