Vivian J. Mills, 87, of Bordentown Township, passed away Friday, July 1, 2011, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, she was a lifetime area resident. A graduate of Trenton High School, Trenton State College and with studies at Syracuse University, Vivian was a retired Middle School Teacher with the Burlington Township School District and was a member of the NJEA. She was also a member of the Scottish American Club, the Bordentown Township Senior Citizens, the First Presbyterian Church of Bordentown and enjoyed listening to Andre Rieu, the renown violinist.
Daughter of the late Robert and Jessie Green and wife of the late William S. Mills, she is survived by her beloved son, Raymond E. Mills of Bordentown Township, her brother, Thomas Green of Florida, three cousins, Bobby, David and Susan and close friends, Jean Allegetti and the Gold and Trax families, et al'.
Funeral Services will be held 11 am Wednesday, July, 6 th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
