Virginia A. Bonnell, 94, of Hamilton, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Hamilton Continuing Care.  Born in Wheeling, WV, she was a longtime Bordentown area resident.  Virginia was a bookkeeper for 25 years at the Bordentown and Hightstown A&P.  She also worked as a hairdresser.  Virginia was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bordentown where she formerly served as Deacon.

Wife of the late Homer C. Bonnell; she is survived by her daughter, Sharon MacDermid of Hamilton Twp.; her grandson, Clifford MacDermid and his wife Dori; two great grandsons, John Spence and Daniel Owen MacDermid all of Barnstable, MA; her brother Russell Abraham of West Haven, CT as well as nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 11am on Saturday, September 1 ^st at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St. Bordentown.  The Rev. Robin Lostetter will officiate.  Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery.  Friends may call Saturday from 10am until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Ave., Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
