Vera M. Dentler (Bowman),  87, of Riverton, entered into God's care on Wednesday, February 23, 2011. She was a resident of the Riverview Estates Baptist Home of South Jersey since 1990. Born in Ephrata , PA. , she had also lived in Lancaster and Wrightsville , PA, as well as New Egypt and Allentown , NJ . In High School she was active in music programs and performed in operettas. She eventually sang at weddings, taught Sunday school, sang in church choirs and enjoyed singing at the Baptist Home. Vera was a member of the Chesterfield Baptist Church .

Daughter of the late Clayton and Mary Bowman, wife of the late Chester M. Dentler, and sister of the late Helen McLaughlin and Frank Bowman, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Claudia and Robert Borgstrom of Bordentown; her grandson, Scott Borgstrom and his wife Amanda of Mansfield; four great grandchildren, Lauren, Scott, Kaitlin and Ryan Borgstrom; a sister-in-law, Jean Bowman of Lebanon, PA and two nieces and a nephew.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 am Wednesday, March 2 at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St , Bordentown. Interment will follow in Bordentown Cemetery . Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
