Valerie L. Buckousis , 41, passed away peacefully and surrounded by love on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Trenton, she was a resident of Bordentown her entire life. Valerie devoted over 20 years of her life working for the Bright Horizons Child Development Centers, most recently located in Lawrenceville, NJ. Her love and dedication for her job, and all of the children, families, and coworkers she encountered was unmistakable. Above all, Valerie held an unparalleled love for her own 2 children, and her family as a whole. She enjoyed cooking, late night walks with music, and helping those in need whenever she was able too.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Bradley Buckousis and Mason Hutchins; her parents, John E. Buckousis, and Maryellen & Robert Morton; her sisters, Lisa Engler and Victoria Buckousis; her brother, Rob Morton; her 2 nieces & a nephew; all of Bordentown, NJ; as well as many extended family members in and around Bordentown, NJ.

A viewing will be held 11 am to 12:30 pm Saturday, July 10, with services beginning at 12:30 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Groveville Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that those interested consider donating to the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children via www.brightspaces.org in honor of Valerie and her love for the children and families served by Bright Horizons.
