Tylee Sculthorpe, Sr., 87, of Cream Ridge, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at his home. Born in Neptune, he was a Cream Ridge area resident for most of his life. Tylee worked on several local farms for many years and later retired from the Monmouth County Highway Department. He also worked for Frank Myroncuk House Movers located in New Egypt. A member of Emley's Hill Methodist Church, Tylee liked to go to auctions and enjoyed working on tractors and lawnmowers.
Husband of the late Joan M. Sculthorpe nee Klink, he was predeceased by two brothers and a sister, Carl and Charles Sculthorpe and Hannah Morris. He is survived by a daughter, Linda Barry of Jackson; three sons, Tylee Sculthorpe Jr. of Cream Ridge, Kenneth Sculthorpe of Toms River and Ronald Sculthorpe of Burlington county; a sister, Marietta Moffler of Lincroft as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 10am Saturday, December 3 rd at Peppler Funeral Home 114 So. Main St. Allentown. The Rev. George Zigich will officiate. Interment will follow in Emley's Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 7-9pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Mary Klink Fund c/o HHER, P.O.
