Obituary

Thomas E. Yeats left this life to be with his Lord on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023, at Virtua Hospital in Mount Holly, at the age of 76. He resided in Tabernacle all his life and was a member of the Tabernacle Methodist Church. He was a great sports fan of the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles.

He was predeceased by his parents, George F. and Margaret A. (nee Estelow) Yeats; his brother, George John; brother-in-law, Joseph Wolverton; and nephews, Joseph John Wolverton, Jerry Jason Wolverton, and Mark Yates. He is survived by his sisters, Thelma M. Wolverton of Bordentown and Janet A. Wolverton (Jim) of Crosswicks along with nieces and nephews: Jeffrey Wolverton, Michelle Van Sciver (Brett), Christine Katona, Janet Lynn Yates, Frannie Wolverton - widow of Joseph John, Jr. Great nieces and nephews are Julia Van Sciver Johnson (Tom), Ethan Van Sciver, Jimmy Katona, and Joey Katona. He was blessed with wonderful neighbors, Lois, Artie, and Christopher Bittner whose support and help were deeply appreciated.

Calling hours will be held Friday August 11 from 9:30 to 11am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks Street, Bordentown, NJ. A funeral service with Pastor Bruce J. Wood will follow at 11:00 AM. Those attending are welcome to wear Phillies or Eagles apparel. Interment will be private. Donations in Tom's memory may be made to a charity of your choice or one related to cerebral palsy.
