THOMAS A. RUCK, 52, of Langhorne, Pa., with family in MONMOUTH COUNTY, passed into God's loving care on Thursday, June 21, at St. Mary Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born in Brooklyn and lived in Langhorne for over 27 years. He received his bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and was formerly employed as the manager of testing services with Law School Testing Services of Newtown. A kind and gentle person, he was a lover of nature, especially the ocean, and had a unique kindness of his soul. Tommy was well known for his ""bushy eyebrows"" and his display of Chuck Taylor high tops.
He is survived by his loving companion of 27 years, Eleanor M. Haworth; his father, Albert C. Ruck of Red Bank; his mother, Anita Marie Ruck of Columbia, Md.; two brothers, Richard Ruck of Cape May, and Gerald Ruck of Leonardo, Middletown; two sisters, Janet Pastor and her husband Carl, and Dorothy Ruck, all of Columbia, Md.; two nephews; and his beloved cat, Cooc.
Calling hours will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown. Cremation will be at the convenience of the family.
