Obituary

Thomas Glenn Haviland, age 62, passed away Friday, August 17, 2012 at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Pemberton. Born in Trenton, he and his beloved wife, Karen M. Haviland (nee Hein), lived in the Wrightstown area for the last 29 years. He served his country as an Army Medic in Vietnam and owned and operated Maple Hollow Building Maintenance Company located in Wrightstown. Glenn, or ""Pops"" as he was known by his family and friends, was an avid artist and craftsman. He enjoyed being with his family, fishing, NASCAR, baseball and playing pool.

Son of the late Howard R. Haviland of Clarksburg, Glenn is survived by his 95 year old mother, Gladys Haviland (nee Sherwood); his wife, Karen; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Troy Haviland of Wrightstown, Adam and Carol Haviland of Mansfield Twp. and Jonathan and Holly Haviland of Bordentown; two grandchildren, Frankie and Ethan; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Elsie Haviland of Milford DE and  Alan and Ruthi Haviland of Morgan Hill, CA;  two sisters and brothers-in law, Janet and Jay Robson of New Carlisle OH, and Judy and Chuck Simmons of Gilroy CA as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and ""adopted kids"".

A memorial service celebrating Glenn's life will be held at 1 pm Thursday, August 23rd at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown. Friends may call from 11am that morning, until the start of the service. Contributions in Glenn's name may be made to the Deborah Heart and Lung Center, 212 Trenton Rd, Browns Mills, NJ 08015 in lieu of flowers.
