Thomas R. Fields, 76, of Whiting passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton. Born in Hightstown, he was a longtime resident of New Egypt. A graduate of Allentown High School, Tom retired from J.C.P & L. after 34 years of employment. He was a charter member of the New Egypt Elks # 2457 and an avid hunter.

Son of the late John R. and Ann Fields, he was predeceased by his son, Ricky Fields, his brother, Richard Fields and his brothers-in-law, Larry and Leon Goff. Tom is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joyce Fields; his son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Brenda Fields of New Egypt; his daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Ralph Albino of West Kill, NY; his grandchildren, Kelly Grant and her husband Curt of Cream Ridge, Cody Fields and his wife Kelly of New Egypt and Cory Fields and his girlfriend Sara of New Egypt; his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and George Hyatt of Williamstown; his brother-in-law, David Goff of Whiting; his sisters-in-law, Judy Fields of Hammonton and Hazel Goff of Cream Ridge as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held 1pm on Thursday, August 6th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in Emley's Hill Cemetery, Cream Ridge. Friends may call Thursday from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tom's name to the New Egypt Elks Children with Special Needs Fund, 105 Lakewood Road, New Egypt, NJ 08533.
