Theodore ""Ted"" D. Wainwright, 77, passed away June 17, 2011, following a brief illness. Born in Mt. Holly, he lived in the Florence Township area all of his life. Ted was a retired dairy farmer, a former Florence Township Councilman and a member of the NJ Farm Bureau; Mt. Moriah Lodge #28 F&AM; Scottish Rite, Valley of Central Jersey; and the Hedding United Methodist Church.

Son of the late Fred and Wilhelmina Wainwright, he is survived by his wife and best friend of 54 years, Lillian Wainwright (nee Fors), his beloved daughter, Joan Wainwright and her husband Jerome LeBlond of Baltimore, MD, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred Jr. and Jean Wainwright and Marvin and Eileen Wainwright both of Florence, his sister and brother-in-law, Mildred and Donald Bassett of Columbus and numerous nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10 am Tuesday, June 21 at the Hedding United Methodist Church, 2289 Old York Road, Hedding, NJ. Internment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington. Friends may call Monday evening from 6 to 9 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St., Bordentown, and again Tuesday morning 9 am until time of service at the church.
