Theodora L. Sherrard, 86, of Whiting died at the Pines of Whiting on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Born on August 21, 1927 in Mamaroneck, NY, she attended University of Missouri, lived in Louisiana and resided in Yardley, PA for several years prior to moving to Whiting. Teddy spent many years employed by New Jersey Bell Telephone and the Trenton Times.

Daughter of the late Fletcher and Ardie Burdett; she was predeceased by her husband John Sherrard, her stepson, Paul Sherrard, her twin sister, Sandy Teller, her sister Michael and brother Fletcher Burdett. Teddy is survived by her sons, George (Linda) Adams of Houston, TX and Andy (Jennifer) Adams of Choudrant, LA; her stepsons, John (Cheryl) Sherrard of Yardley, PA, James (Sally) Sherrard of Littleton, NH and Peter (Cheryl) Sherrard of Matthews, NC. Left to honor her memory are her grandchildren, Travis and Peter Adams of Houston, TX, Phillip Adams of Dallas, TX, Katie Wenglikowski of Austin, TX, David Jameson of Houston, TX, Jennifer (David) Nuzzolo of New Hope, PA, Jill (Jon) Rea of Yardley, PA, James Sherrard of Wareham, MA, Ethan and Brennan Sherrard of Matthews, NC, Beverlee Henline of Windham, ME, Ian Henline of Hatboro, PA, Abby Hancock of Annapolis, MD, Julie (Harrison) Hale of Columbus, OH and Eric Hancock of Matthews, NC; six great grandchildren, Jacob and Madeline Rea of Yardley, PA, Garrett Nuzzolo of New Hope, PA, Heath Hale of Columbus, OH, Isabella Jameson of Houston, TX and Victoria Jameson of Austin, TX as well as many nieces and nephews.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. At Teddy's request, there will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements under the direction of the Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown, NJ.
