Thelma Clayton, 93, passed away Friday, July 11th at her home in Allentown, NJ. Born in Imlaystown, she had attended grammar school there and went on to graduate from Allentown High School. She and her family are responsible for creating what is now, Clayton Park in Upper Freehold Township.
Daughter of the late Paul and Maude Clayton (nee Reed) she is survived by many dear friends and her companion ""Buddy"" her poodle.
Funeral service will be held 11am Friday, July 18th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. The Rev. Horace Frantz will officiate. Interment will follow in Emleys Hill Cemetery, Cream Ridge. Friends may call Friday, 10 am until time of service at the funeral home.
