Sylvia Coleman, 90, of Hamilton passed away, Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at RWJ hospital in Hamilton.  Born in Perrineville, she was a longtime Allentown area resident. Ms. Coleman was a devoted wife and mother. She took care of her family and home and worked outside the home at various places.  She was a longtime member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Bordentown.

Daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Brannon, she was predeceased in 2014 by her husband of 57 years, Louis Coleman. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Norma Coleman of San Lucas Sactepequez, Guatemala; her brother, Ed Brannon; two grandsons, Raymond Rhoads and Elijah Fields; step-grandchildren, Tiara and Ciara Davis and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 29th at Peppler Funeral Home, 114 So. Main St. Allentown.  Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Arneytown.  Friends may call Thursday from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o Louis Coleman.
