Susan Troxel, 59, of Hamilton, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Hamilton. Born in North Brunswick, she was a resident of Hamilton for 11 years. Sue recently retired from her 39 year career as a hairdresser, where she made many friends. She attended the Straightway Baptist Church in Lawrenceville and deeply cared for all of those in the congregation. Her deep faith was real; she made a hobby of bringing others needs to the Lord in prayer.

A talented crafter, she enjoyed scrapbooking as well as cooking, dining out and going down to the shore. Sue also loved to travel with her husband Mark; her favorites where going to the Pennsylvania Dutch Country and to Disney. Above all, Susan loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Sue had an affinity for making people smile; she never met a stranger and made friends everywhere she went.

Daughter of the late Frank and Ruth Thomas, Sue is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, Mark Troxel; brother, Bill Thomas; sister-in-law and best friend, Donna Smith; sister-in-law, Lori Rothgeb; brother-in-law, Gary Troxel and his wife June; nieces and nephews, Billy and Shanna Thomas, Derek, Andrea, Lauren and Kelly Smith and Janine and Lindsay Troxel; great niece and nephews, Raegen and Raiden; her best friends in Florida, Jackie and Lynn; many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins as well as her dog Walter and cat Walle. She was predeceased by her nephew, Gary Troxel.

A viewing will be held Monday, April 2, 2018 from 4-7pm with at funeral service to begin at 5pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.
