Susan Richmond, 68, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at RWJ University Hospital in Hamilton. Born in Trenton, she had resided in Imlaystown prior to moving to New Egypt 24 years ago. She attended Trenton High School and Lawrence High School and graduated in 1968. Susan was a Pharmaceutical Technician and worked for the Plumstead Pharmacy in New Egypt. She attended Emley's Hill United Methodist Church and was a volunteer with the Good Samaritan Food Pantry associated with the church.
Predeceased by her father, Clifton Perry and her sister, Mary Jane Perry, she is survived by her mother: Mary Jane Perry, her beloved husband of 49 years: John Richmond, her children: Veronica Sedgwick and her husband Lee of Morgantown, PA, Philip Richmond of New Egypt and Victoria Evans and her husband Robert of Bethel Park, PA. Her brother: Clifton E. Perry and his wife Mary of Imlaystown, her sister: Stacie Perry of Middlesex, NJ, three grandchildren: Matthew, Michael and Nathan, brother-in-law Richard Richmond of Burlington, many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends including Diane Hewitt.
Calling hours will be Saturday, July 20 from 5 to 8 pm with services beginning at 8pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St, Allentown, NJ 08501. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Food Pantry c/o Emley's Hill United Methodist Church, 69 Emley's Hill Road, Cream Ridge, NJ 08514.
