Susan Dutton Engebretson, 79, of Yardville, passed away July 11, 2026 at The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Born in Trenton, Susan was a teacher for the Old Bridge Township School District for 33 years. A member of the Yardville Presbyterian Church, now the United Presbyterian Church in Yardville, she was a member of the Red Hat Society and loved quilting, making blankets and doing all sorts of crafts. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her friends in her book club.

Daughter of the late William and Irene Hancock, Susan was predeceased by her husbands Anthony Dutton and David Englebretson. She is survived by her cousin Lurene Senf; her special friend Marina Gasinova, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Friends may call Wednesday, July 22nd from 6-8pm at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown, NJ. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will follow in North Crosswicks cemetery, Hamilton.
