Susan Bentley Davala, 83, of Allentown, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at Greenwood House in Ewing.  Born in Trenton, she was longtime Allentown resident.  Susan worked as legal secretary for many years before leaving to raise her family.  She later worked as a court clerk at Cranbury Township until her retirement.

Susan was active in her community where she was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church.  She taught CCD at the church for 11 years.  She was also a member of the Allentown Historical Society.  In her free time, Susan enjoyed antiquing and taking care of her garden.

Daughter of the late Walter and Edna Bentley, she was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Cindy Davala. Susan is survived by her four sons and daughter-in-law, Andrew Davala, Alan and Gail Davala, Aric Davala, and Matthew Davala; her grandchildren, Justin, Hillary, Lindsay, and Abigail; her great granddaughter, Emma as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11am on Wednesday, March 30 ^th at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown.  A gathering time will be held from 10:30-11am at the Church.
