She became an avid gardener and loved working in her yard.  Susan loved to watch her birds and take care of her fish pond. She had many wonderful times with family and friends who all meant so much to her.

Daughter of the late Helen Hinkle, Susan was predeceased by her husband, John A. Asay and her sister, Nancy Lebak.  She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Margo Asay of Chesterfield; two daughters and a son-in-law, Lisa Asay of Saylorsburg, Pa. and Jill and Thomas Redwood of Jacobstown; her grandchildren, Jillian, Ryan and Taylor Asay and Danielle Redwood; a brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Laura Hinkle of Columbus; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, David Lebak of Burlington and Kenneth and Marion Asay of Fieldsboro as well as many nieces and nephews.
