Stephen T. Gruca, 78 of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 two days shy of his 79 ^th birthday. Born in Trenton, he was a life Imlaystown/Allentown area resident. Steve was a graduate of Allentown High School and Trenton Tech. Over the years he worked for various companies designing piping systems. A member of St. John's Church in Allentown, he was and avid hunter and fisherman.

Son of the late Stephen and Jean Gruca, he was predeceased by his sister, Maryann Gruca and his brother, Bob Gruca. Steve is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce Gruca; his son, Michael S. Gruca; his daughter, Joan Gruca; his grandchildren, Michael S. Gruca, Jr., Andrew Smith, Cassidy Curtis, and Kendall Curtis; his daughter-in-law, April Gruca; his sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Pat Gruca, Holly Scerbo, Robin Gottlick, Theresa Mavuro, Kim Santangelo and Gerard Santangelo as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 28 ^th from 9:30-10:30am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11am in St. John the Baptist RC Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
