Stephanie Valentina Castles, 99, of Robbinsville, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Trenton.  Born in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Castles was a loving mother and devoted grandmother and great grandmother.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing and crocheting and travelled extensively.  She was a member of St. John's Church in Allentown where she was a housekeeper later in life.

Daughter of the late Stephen and Valentina Wojciehowski, Mrs. Castles is predeceased by her husband James J. Castles; a daughter, Patricia Castles Welch and four siblings, Mary Penarczyk, Msgr. Ted Wojciehowski, Stanley Wojciehowski and Chester Wojciehowski.  She is survived by her children, Dr. James J. Castles and his wife Kristin of Bodega Bay, CA, Rev. Patrick J. Castles of Allentown and Marianne Castles Kollar and her husband Mike of Lawrenceville; her grandchildren Michael J. and Meghan P. Kollar, Brian J., Peter M., and Matthew T. Castles; her great grandchildren, Stephanie, Emily and Cade Castles as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10am Monday, July 16 ^th at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville - Allentown Rd., Allentown.  Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm and again Monday, from 9am until the time of service at the Church.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Castles name to St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville Allentown Rd. Allentown, NJ 08501.  Arrangements under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown.
