Stella H. Csakan (nee Bennett), 92, passed away Friday, October 24, 2014, at RWJ University Hospital at Hamilton, with her family by her side. Born in Secaucus, NJ, she had resided in Trenton and Yardville prior to moving to Columbus 15 years ago. She was a short order cook and worked for various establishments including the Bromley Diner in Trenton.
Stella was a member of the Cook Athletic Association Ladies Auxiliary, enjoyed crocheting, frequent trips to Atlantic City, but what she enjoyed most was spending time with her family and she will be deeply missed.
Predeceased by her parents Walter and Minnie Bennett, her brothers: Edward and Joseph Przyborowski, her beloved husband of 65 years; Andrew M. Csakan Sr and her son: Richard W. Csakan, she is survived by her daughters: Cindy Pippen and her husband Fred of Columbus and Darlene Davidson and her husband John P. of Mt. Holly, her son: Andrew M. Csakan and his wife Cheryle of Clovis, NM, two brothers: Pete Przyborowski of Florida and Frank Przyborowski of Florence, NJ, eight grandchildren: Michael J. Csakan and his wife Tasnee, Nicholas A. Csakan and his wife Amanda, Robert T. Davidson and his wife Maria, Tricia Davidson, Stefanie Pippen, Laurie Zitler and her husband Kurt, John P. Davidson Jr. and Jennifer R. Davidson as well as 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11 am Monday, October 27, at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown, NJ. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Twp. Family and friends may call Monday morning from 9 am until time of service at the funeral home.
