Obituary

Stanley W. Winkowski, 90, of Hamilton, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton. Born in Holmdel, he was a resident of Imlaystown for most of his life prior to moving to Virginia in 1991. He later moved to back to Cream Ridge and most recently to Hamilton to live with his son, Jeffrey. Stan was a hard worker and spent his time growing up working on the family farm. In the late 1950's he opened Stanley Winkowski Well Drilling which he owned and operated until his retirement in 1991. Stanley was a talent craftsman who built and restored house and was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and working in his yard.

Son of the late Michael and Agata Winkowski; he was predeceased by his sister, Jean Lisowsky and brother, John Winkowski. Stanley is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Louise Winkowski; two sons and a daughter-in-law, David Winkowski and Jeffrey and Melissa Winkowski of Hamilton; two sisters, Jane Russo and Ann Orechwo both of Whiting; his brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Liz Winkowski of Cream Ridge; his grandsons, Kirk and Paul Winkowski; his step grandchildren, Shauna and Greg Parson as well as 9 great grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held 1pm on Monday, February 16th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown. Interment will follow in Emley's Hill Cemetery, Cream Ridge. Friends may call Monday from 11am until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Emley's Hill United Methodist Church, 69 Emley's Hill Road, Cream Ridge, NJ 08514.
