Stanley B. Stevenson , 91, of Columbus, passed away peacefully at Spring Oak of Berlin Assisted Living on June 3, 2023.

Born in Chesterfield, NJ,  Stanley resided in the Chesterfield and Columbus areas for the majority of his life before moving to assisted living in Berlin in 2022. He was a 1949 graduate of William MacFarland High  School in Bordentown, where he was an active participant in Future Farmers of America (FFA).  Upon graduation, he continued working and operating the family dairy farm, Fairview Farm in Chesterfield. In 1951 he married his high school sweetheart Jeanette Roberts and they continued to reside on the family farm. After many years of farming, he moved on to work for General Electric and later became a turf and outdoor equipment salesman in which he received salesman of the year honors.  In his later years, he worked in  real estate and at the NJ Turnpike Authority.

In his spare time, Stanley along with his wife Jeanette loved visiting the Outer Banks of North Carolina and being involved in their children's many school and recreational activities. Stanley was a long time active member of both the Bordentown and Pemberton Rotary Clubs and served as President of both organizations. He was also a member of the Masons, and served  as a Board of Education member for the Northern Burlington County Regional School District.  As a dairy farmer he was involved in various farming associations. Stanley valued helping others and participating in the many service activities associated with rotary and other service organizations.  In fact,  his favorite day of the year was when as a representative of the Rotary he assisted delivering Thanksgiving dinners to families in need. He also valued the importance of education and hard work by serving as a Board Member, School Booster Club Member, and by donating dictionaries to local elementary schools in honor of  his late wife Jeanette Stevenson.

Predeceased by his parents, Lloyd Stevenson and Elizabeth (Stiles) Stevenson, his wife  Jeanette (Roberts) Stevenson and sister, Doris Thorn; he is survived by his Son and daughter in law Gary and Beverly Stevenson and his daughter and daughter in law, Cheryl Stevenson and Teresa Jennings.
