Stanley J. Sedwick, Jr., 71, of Mercerville, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022. Born in Ft. Hood, Texas, he was a graduate of Allentown High School class of 68, and later proudly served in the US Army until 1975. Stan was devoted to his family and career at AT&T. During his 40 years of service, he served on the AT&T Long Lines cable ship and then later joined the Network Disaster Recovery Team, deploying in response to Ground Zero/911, Hurricane Katrina, and satellite service for Operation Iraqi Freedom.  He loved to golf, work on cars, machinery, his yard, and on household projects. A former member of the Fin, Fur and Feather Club, Stan was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching golf, and walking his dog.

Son of the late Gladys and Stanley Sedwick Sr., he was predeceased by his siblings, Susan Bowker, Rosemary Dent, Frank Sedwick, Christopher Sedwick, sister-in-law Valerie Sedwick and brother-in-law Robert Clark. Stan is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Ann Sedwick; his children and their spouses, Stanley and Mia Sedwick, Amy and Robert Chianese and Michael Sedwick; his grandchildren, Julianna and Stephanie Sedwick, Marc Chianese and his wife Martha, Mikaela, Matthew, and Natalee Chianese; his great grandson Theodore Chianese; his siblings, Rita Clark, Steven Sedwick, and Kathy (Pixie) Robinson and her husband Bryan; his sister-in-law, Heather Sedwick, brother-in-law, Randy Dent; many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Sandy.

A viewing will be held Tuesday, March 1st from 9:30-10:30am at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am on Tuesday at St. John's Church, 1282 Yardville-Allentown Rd., Allentown. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
