Shirley S. Weir, 90, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 29, 2019, at The Chelsea Assisted Living community in Montville, NJ. Her husband, Donald D. Weir, and a son, David S. Weir, predeceased her. Before moving to Montville, Shirley had retired with her husband to Columbus, NJ.

Shirley was born in Plainfield, NJ, her home of many years, where she raised three children as a homemaker and wonderful cook. She is survived by a son and a daughter, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home in Bordentown, NJ.
