Obituary

Shirley Shipe, 71, of Whiting, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the Whiting Health Care Center.  Born in Trenton, she resided in Upper Freehold Township for most of her life.  Shirley was a 1959 graduate of Hightstown High School and worked at K-Mart for 34 years until her retirement.

Daughter of the late Cornelius and Catherine Shipe, she was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Arthur Bagley.  Shirley is survived by four siblings, Cornelia Bagley of Whiting, Clark Shipe and his wife Dolores of Hamilton Square, Doris Keller and her husband Joseph of Cape May Point and Cornelius V. Shipe Jr. of Whiting; two nieces, Deborah Shipe of Hamilton and Sarah Billeri and her husband Michael of Medway, MA and a great nephew, Jacob Billeri.

Funeral service will be held 11 am on Tuesday, September 20 th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St. Allentown.  The Rev. Horace Frantz will officiate.  Entombment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.  Friends may call Tuesday from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.
