Sharon Lynn C a ffey, 51, of New Egypt, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Capital Health Medical Center in Hopewell. Born in Trenton , she was a graduate of Ewing High School. Sharon was employed for 18 years as Confidential Assistant to the Commissioner for The State of NJ, Department of Transportation and was a ffectionately known as the "Queen Bee of D.O.T" by her co-workers because of her 33 year career with the D.O.T. She enjoyed going to Laurita Winery and was a huge Bon Jovi fan. Above all, Sharon was a simple woman who was devoted to her family and loved being a grandma.
Daughter of the late Harry Holsneck III , Sharon is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, Daniel; her son and daughter-in-law, James and Daniel l e C a ffey; her daughter, Jessica C a ffey; her grandchildren, Trevor and Emmett C a ffey; her mother, Doreen Holsneck; brother, David Holsneck; nieces, Kayla, Morgan and Olivia ; uncles Ralph J. Soden and Craig Soden and his wife, Marie as well as many loving friends, cousins and extended family.
A visitation with the family will be held Monday, December 28 th from 1-3 pm with a memorial service beginning at 3 pm at the Peppler Funeral Home , 122 Crosswicks St. Bordentown . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sharon 's name to the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey , 825 Georges Road, Second Floor , North Brunswick, NJ 08902 or to the Wounded Warrior Project , P.O. Box 758517 , Topeka, KS 66675
