Sgt. First Class John J. Frech, 76, of Lake Ariel, PA, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 surround by his family. Born in Trenton, he lived in Bordentown for most of his life prior to moving to Lake Ariel. Jack retired from the New Jersey State Police as Sergeant First Class after many years of service.
Son of the late Jacob and Eileen Frech; he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ruth M. Frech; his children, Jacqueline Beamer, Kimberley Frech-Tunney and her husband Brendan and Kevin Frech; his granddaughter, Amanda Beamer; sister and brother-in-law, Terri and Dave Eide; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Marvin and Lini Van Hise, Wayne and Yvonne Van Hise and Diane & Gary Molnar; his prankster and fun loving cousins, Dr. Edward J. and Joanne Ford and A. Michael and Robbie Schreier as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 11am on Saturday, February 24th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 114 S. Main St., Allentown. Interment will follow in the Allentown Presbyterian Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 7-9pm and again Saturday from 10-11am at the funeral home.
