Samuel M. Hutchinson, Jr., 69, of Matawan, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge. Born in Trenton, Samuel was a longtime Ellisdale area resident. He attended Upper Freehold Regional/Allentown School District and farmed for his father as well as for other area farms for many years. Samuel loved to hunt and fish.

Son of the late S. Mount and Alda Hutchinson; he is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Joseph Notarian of Camp Hill, PA and Gail and Jack Bray of Sun City, AZ; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Donna Hutchinson of Robbinsville; an uncle, Carlton Golden of Cream Ridge; an aunt, Marian Green of Columbus, GA as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 2pm on Saturday, March 20th at the Upper Freehold Baptist Church, 207 Davis Station Road, Imlaystown, NJ. Interment will follow in the Old Yellow Meetinghouse Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3076 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ, 08648.
