Samuel J. Gallino, 83, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Willingboro. Born in Trenton, he lived in Crosswicks for over 30 years, before moving to Columbus 11 years ago. Sam was a retired foreman from NJ Bell, was a member of the Seabees for over 12 years and was a volunteer fireman for the Crosswicks Fire Company. He was an avid sportsman and life member of the Clover, Rod and Gun Club of Trenton, was an excellent cook and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City. Sam was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
Husband of the late Susan W. Youngs Gallino, he is survived by his beloved daughters, Tracey J. Cobb of Levittown and Nancy J. Andrews and her husband Jim of Bristol; three grandchildren, Christopher and Maddison Cobb and James Andrews; three sister-in-laws, Pam Runyon, Maralee and Debbie Youngs and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial celebrating Sam's life will be held 6 to 8 pm, Friday, January 18th at the Peppler Funeral Home, 122 Crosswicks St, Bordentown. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
